Australian International School (AIS) health bulletin update regarding the Test Day of SAT

In compliance with the Philippines Department of Health safety protocols and guidelines amidst the COVID 19 pandemic, the following are the safety protocols that will be followed by all SAT test takers at AIS: 

o Students must wear a prescribed Surgical Mask, N95, KF94, or KN95 Masks at all times. Masks with valves are not allowed.

o Students must also wear a Face Shield with no gap on top.

o Students are encouraged to present an updated and valid Health Certificate stating that they had undergone home quarantine for a total of 14 days or two weeks prior to the test date and are free of COVID 19 symptoms.

o Students are expected to practice social distancing upon entering and remaining within the Test Center.

o Students will only be dropped-off and picked up. No parking will be allowed for guests or parents.

o Students must bring their own 70% alcohol or alcohol based hand sanitizer.

o Students will not be allowed to check in any bags and must secure all the necessary test tools in a clear ziplock bag such as: Valid School ID or Passport, #2 pencil and eraser, scientific calculator and a sharpener. Clear water bottles will be allowed and must stay with the participant at all times.

o The test proper will be conducted within the school premises where the school deems it to be most safe and conducive. Jackets may be necessary in the air conditioned rooms.

o Upon entry students must have their own pen to fill out a localized Health Survey Form and be subjected to a temperature check. Students with an elevated temperature of 37.5° celsius and cough or cold symptoms will not be allowed entry to the school.

The Philippines has a reported case of 250,000 active individuals who gained a positive COVID 19 test result and stricter measures are now implemented to help slow the rise of the virus. Health and safety of all registered test takers along with on-site Proctors, Monitors and local support staff must be prioritized and put in importance along with adhering to the Philippines Interagency Task Force Guidelines and Protocols on maintaining health standards under the COVID 19 crisis.
