NOTE: The UWA MBA is not accepting applications for enrolment at this time. This is a truly unique offering in the Philippines in that it provides the opportunity to earn an MBA degree from a prestigious global top-100 university and EQUIS accredited business school without having to leave the country or even having to stop working. The professors fly to Manila to personally conduct classes. UWA is a research university, and the professors that come to Manila continuously contribute to the growing body of knowledge in their field. Lecturers must produce an annual quota of research, and include text book authors as well as successful practitioners in their fields. The UWA MBA prepares managers to think strategically, have an international perspective, innovate and manage change effectively, and be effective leaders. The student body of the UWA MBA in Manila numbers close to 100 and is composed of a diverse range of individuals, representing various industries including telecommunications, real estate, fast moving consumer goods, distribution, finance and the legislative branch of government. The average student has a role in strategic decision-making in their firm and is between 30-35 years old. The average class is composed of 30 students, with 70% of the class being Filipino and the remaining 30% being composed of various nationalities from Asia, Europe and America. Alumni of the Manila program include individuals successful in large corporations as well as entrepreneurship. There are currently approximately 100 alumni.
